France won their first SailGP of the year on Sunday as Quentin Delapierre’s team took the Germany Sail Grand Prix, beating out a three-boat duel in the calm waters off Sassnitz. France held their composure in a thrilling finale, which came down to the last metres.

The Bonds Flying Roos of Australia, who won the first Germany Sail Grand Prix on Saturday, ended the day with a lead of eight points over New Zealand. Australia overcame a penalty at the start of the second race, and Tom Slingsby’s crew came back to finish in third place.

Monaco Yacht Club won the Admiral's Cup for the first time on Wednesday. They were the first team to win the prize from the Principality after a long series of races that culminated with the Fastnet Race. Monaco won the Fastnet final after a fierce battle in six inshore races on the Solent.
