MacGregor has received an order of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) retrofit projects for 35 Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC) vessels for Wallenius Wilhelmsen. The order was booked into MacGregor’s third quarter 2026 order intake, and the upgrades will take place based on the vessels’ sailing schedule and availability. The scope of supply for the 35 vessels includes PLC upgrade of the ships' quarter ramps.

MacGregor to Deliver Deck, Scientific Machinery to Four Research Vessels
MacGregor has secured orders to deliver deck cranes, handling equipment, and deck machinery for four new oceanographic research vessels. The orders were booked into MacGregor’s second and third quarter 2026 order intake, with equipment deliveries starting in 2027 and scheduled to complete by the third quarter of 2029 at the latest. Two of the vessels will be built at the GONDAN Shipbuilders in Spain for the German Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH).
MacGregor Secures RoRo Equipment Order for Battery-Hybrid LNG Green Ships
MacGregor has signed contracts with China Merchants Jinling Shipyard to supply a scope of RoRo equipment for TT-Line’s two new Green Ship 2.0 battery-hybrid LNG ferries. The contract includes several RoRo equipment items per vessel. The board of directors of MacGregor Group AB has appointed Jonas Gustavsson Chief Executive Officer of MacGregor as of August 1, 2025. He succeeds Leif Byström, who is retiring.Jonas Gustavsson joined MacGregor in March 2025 as Deputy President. Prior to that he served as the CEO of AFRY AB from 2017 until early 2025. His earlier positions include 23 years of leadership experience with various senior roles at Sandvik, Rotax, Bombardier and ABB.
Triton Completes MacGregor Acquisition
