SpecTec Launches AMOS Mobile
SpecTec has launched a new product within the AMOS Business Suite: AMOS Mobile, a handheld-device software providing the ability to record transactions remotely, and upload those transactions right into AMOS. AMOS Mobile users can record inventory updates, create work requests, and update values for counter readings and measurement points during their normal rounds. The latest AMOS Mobile release is comprised of two business modules: Inventory and Maintenance.

SpecTec Announces The New Contract with Oceanex
SpecTec is happy to announce a new contract signed with Oceanex Inc for the implementation of AMOS2 Staff Management for crewing services. As part of this project, SpecTec will implement the AMOS2 Crewing Database and configure the system identically to the existing AMOS2 Staff Management database currently being used by Oceanex Inc. both onshore and onboard the company’s three vessels, M/V Oceanex Avalon, M/V Cabot and M/V Oceanex Sanderling.

Tankerska Plovidba has eight new buildings on order with deliveries in 2010 and 2011. Recently, two separate agreements have been made with SpecTec Limited, for the supply of AMOS software and databases for two new buildings in Jiangsu Eastern Shipyard PRC and two new buildings in SPP Shipyard Korea.
