Before founding North American Marine Consultants, LLC, he was chief operating officer for 10 years at Merrill Marine Services. Weber, who was formerly a corporate finance officer, has a bachelor of finance and masters in business administration degrees and is an ASA certified appraiser.

Russell E. Perry, founder of the R.E. Perry Company, an industrial and maritime real estate brokerage and advisory firm, earned a significant professional reputation for his expertise in providing these services for maritime properties. Perry gained a knowledge-based background in the valuation of commercial maritime properties as a result of representing and consulting corporate real estate clients in the sales, purchase and asset lease administration of industrial distribution centers and marine terminals. Perry furthered his professional association with the marine industry by earning his U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Marine Captains license.
