Comark Corporation completed full environmental testing of its latest version of the MDU19PC ruggedized COTS computer including MIL-901D grade-A lightweight shock test.

The MDU19PC is an all-in-one display and computer designed and tested to meet military requirements for shipboard applications including propulsion, machinery control and ECDIS navigation. The panel is NEMA 4 rated when panel mounted and is available with an array of options including touchscreen, Intel 2nd generation core i5 or i7 processing, speakers and optional front access USB ports.

The MDU19PC is built with the latest in processor and LED backlit display to ensure long life availability and is part of a family of MIL-qualified, type approved panel PC’s in sizes ranging 12” to 23”. The MDU19PC is manufactured in the U.S. using long lifespan components to ensure multi-year availability for long-term military applications. The product complies with Federal BAA (Buy American Act) requirements.

“The 20.1” products common to the Navy have become obsolete due to the cease of LCD production, therefore the MDU19PC has been designed as a drop in replacement for these Naval applications. Not only does the MDU19PC solve the obsolescence, it also provides a superior product utilizing the latest technology including LED backlights requiring lower power meeting higher environmental requirements,” said Keith Vreeland, Business Development Manager.
