Australian Navy Sinks USN Warship

The Royal Australian Navy submarine HMAS Waller was the first submarine to successfully fire a new heavyweight torpedo. The firing occurred during the Rim of the Pacific 2008 controlled exercise off the coast of which resulted in the planned sinking of a retired warship.
