Lott and Bergeron Join AMPOL

American Pollution Control Corp. (AMPOL), an oil spill response and environmental solutions provider, has named Kevin Bergeron and Jeremy Lott Insulation Specialists, announced CEO Kirk Headley. Bergeron and Lott will both be based out of AMPOL’s New Iberia facility. Their responsibilities will include insulation preparation, installation and service. Combined, the two men bring more than 42 years of experience to AMPOL.

Bergeron has project management experience with insulation, asbestos abatement, lead abatement, coatings, steam tracing and refractory unit jobs. In his previous position, Bergeron was responsible for maintaining one million incident free man hours over a seven year span. Considered to be the Oscars® of construction, he is a two-time recipient of the Excellence in Construction Award (Louisiana). He is also NACE certified and the recipient of the Nation Eagle Award.

Lott has more than a decade of experience in project execution, crew management and job estimation and has managed jobs at Exxon Baton Rouge, Dow St. Charles and Valero. For the last two years, he has focused on earning his certification in asbestos. He is asphalt, brick and concrete (ABC) certified in industrial coatings for insulation and metal works and has invested time offshore and along the Gulf Coast to learn his trade.  Additionally, he specializes in coatings work and insulation shop works such as thermal blanket construction for fire proofing and heat protection.
