Xerox Wins $19.4m Navy Contract

Xerox Corp., McLean, Va., is being awarded a $19,409,029 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for ship board copiers, print ship equipment, and related support services to the entire Navy fleet. This contract contains options which, if exercised, will bring the total value of this contract to $ 93,892,161. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va.; Mayport, Fla.; San Diego, Calif.; Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; Puget Sound, Wash.; Pascagoula, Miss.; Manama, Bahrain; and Yokosuka, Japan, and work is expected to be completed in September 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via posting to Navy Electronic Commerce On-line, with one offer received. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Contracting Department in Philadelphia is the contracting activity.
