IMTRA Debuts Omega LED lights

IMTRA today released its Omega LED lights. Designed specifically for recessed lighting applications in large yachts, the DC-powered Omega LED lights feature a high-quality, high CRI (Color Rendering Index) that reveals the colors of objects faithfully in comparison with ideal and natural light sources.

Omega LED lights produce excellent lighting quality by combining high CRI with an equally high R9 value. A quantitative measurement of saturated red tone, high R9 values produce the most vivid colors. The warm hue of Omega LEDs, which is the same color as the halogen lights they are designed to replace, will help accentuate the most intimate settings, including rich wood grains, colorful furniture fabrics and artwork. They help contribute to a healthy skin tone appearance and make food look more appealing. Fully dimmable using Imtra’s Universal PowerLED dimmers, Omega also features open-control architecture for easy integration with third party vessel monitoring systems.

“In the past, people who wanted lights with super-high output had to make a choice between power-hungry halogens or LEDs with poor light characteristics – with Omega they don’t need to make that choice,” said Eric Braitmayer, CEO, IMTRA. “Omega is the best of both worlds. It provides the same high-quality light, color and tone reproduction of 35 Watt halogen lights at an 80% power savings and also delivers all of the other advantages of LEDs.”

Omega is a complete family of downlights featuring fixed round or square, and gimbaled round designs available in polished or brushed stainless steel, and custom finishes. They boast higher efficiency, virtually no maintenance and ultimately have a lower cost than standard halogen lights. Consuming a mere 6.4 watts, yet matching the light output from a typical 35 watt halogen lamp, the 350 lumen Omega high power, high output LED technology is ideal for large salons with elevated ceiling heights. Omega can be mounted either by spring- or screw-mounting and due to a lower profile it requires less installation depth than traditional line-voltage lighting. Each light is CE, EMC and ETL approved, proudly made in the USA and protected by a 5-Year Warranty.

Omega is available through IMTRA’s network of marine retailers, shipyards and marine retrofitters throughout the United States and Canada, as well as at www.imtra.com. For more information on Omega LED downlights, IMTRA, or its entire product line, please call 508-995-7000 or visit www.imtra.com.
