General Dynamics NASSCO has delivered Bay State, the fourth of five new Jones Act ECO Class product carriers under contract with American Petroleum Tankers
(APT). The vessel was delivered on Monday, September 26 during a signing ceremony at the NASSCO shipyard in San Diego.
The ECO Class design Bay State is a 610-foot-long, 50,000 deadweight-ton, LNG-conversion-ready product tanker with a 330,000 barrel cargo capacity. The ship’s construction began in May 2015.
