Statoil drills dry well in North Sea -oil directorate
Norway's Statoil has drilled a dry well in the North Sea, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate said on Monday.
The well was drilled in production license 248 C some 5 kilometres from the Fram field. Statoil has a 60-percent stake in the license, while state-owned firm Petoro has the remaining 40 percent.
