EMS Signs Stratos as Distributor of Fleet 55

EMS Technologies, Inc. has made an agreement with Stratos. . Stratos will now sell EMS Technologies' new Fleet 55 Inmarsat maritime satellite terminal. Fleet 55, which provides 64 kbps ISDN and MPDS connectivity to vessels of all sizes, has received a strong positive response from the maritime community since its launch earlier this year.Having been made a distributor for the EMS Storm and Cyclone products on May 14, 2003, Stratos now joins a select group of Master Distributors for EMS Technologies' suite of advanced maritime satellite solutions. Stratos delivers a variety of satellite products and services for ship-to- shore and shore-to-ship communication needs for industrial, government, and recreational seafaring applications With a worldwide sales and distribution network, Stratos is positioned to provide fast delivery and service to F55 customers throughout the Americas, Europe and the Pacific Rim. Ed Bender, EMS's head of Americas Distribution for the Fleet 55, commented, "We are delighted to add Stratos to our Master Distribution Network for the F55.
