Fraser Yachts' 5th Sale in 10 days

Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

August 1, 2014

Fraser Yachts announced this morning its fifth yacht sale in just ten days. Whilst the summer period is traditionally a quieter time for yacht sales 2014 seems determined to continue the positive path it set out on at the beginning of the year.

Last week the 26m ELENA B from Cantieri di Pisa was sold by Oscar Romano, quickly followed by the 35m Benetti PARADIGM sold by Michael Selter in San Diego, the 44m CRESCENT 144 currently under construction at Crescent Yachts in Canada which was sold by Neal Esterly also in San Diego and the classic motor yacht CAPELLA C, sold by Richard Earp in the Monaco office. Now EVIL ZANA has been added to the list, a 38m Sunseeker sold by Antoine Larricq also in the Monaco office.

Fabio Ermetto, Chairman of Fraser Yachts commented, “This is clearly excellent news not just for us but for the industry as a whole. There are a number of economic concerns at the moment but our brokers are continuing to work hard and close deals. What is especially important for us is that these sales are taking place all over the world and for all different types and sizes of yachts; proving that we truly are The Superyacht Experts”.

The announcement of the five sales confirms Fraser Yachts’ leading position as the number one brokerage company. Market Intelligence data recently published by Boat International Media showed that in the first six months of the year Fraser Yachts once again sold more superyachts than any other brokerage worldwide and particularly dominated the +60m range, selling one third of all yachts over 60m sold in that six month period. This is the fifth year in a row that Fraser Yachts has held this leading position.
