Hapag-Lloyd informs about the upgraded West Africa Mediterranean Express (WMX) effective December 2015.

We are pleased to inform you about our upgraded West Africa Mediterranean Express (WMX).

As of December 2015, we will have a substantial increased allocation on the WMX service calling all major West African ports:

West Africa Mediterranean Express (WMX

Valencia • Tarragona • Algeciras • Tanger • Dakar • Lagos (Tin Can) • Tema • Takoradi (every 3rd week) • Abidjan • Valencia *every 3rd week

With the upgraded WMX service together with our recently upgraded West Africa Express (WAX), we will have a further enhanced West African Network, with revamped transit times from the Mediterranean to West Africa and vice versa.

With Tarragona and Valencia as new ports in our future schedule, we will have additional transshipment options (besides Algeciras) from / to North America and also from / to Far East.

With this enlarged West African Network, we can offer you two reliable as well as sustainable services which will meet your transport requirements.

The West Africa Mediterranean Express (WMX) will commence in week 49 at Valencia:
