AdvanTec Global Innovations has announced it will consolidate its Pacific Coast Marine (PCM) manufacturing operations into other AdvanTec manufacturing facilities in the United States and Canada, effective July 31, 2014.

"This move will expand PCM’s product capabilities," said AdvanTec CEO Paul Hill. "Consolidating manufacturing will allow us to demonstrate improved efficiencies and will provide greater opportunity for innovation."

PCM will continue to operate its sales and service hub out of the Greater Seattle Area.

The PCM sales and service office remaining in the Seattle area will be managed by AdvanTec's Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing Darren Loken."This evolution will help make our entire marine group more efficient," Loken said. "We'll be sharing our vast resources across the organization as never before, and the dedicated PCM sales and service team the industry has relied on for years will continue to meet our customers' needs," he said.

"Change comes to all good organizations with an eye to the future," Hill said. "It is always a difficult decision to consolidate operations, but as a global organization working to provide efficiencies and innovation to our customers around the world, these are the necessary steps.”

“Working together we will continue the strong tradition that is Pacific Coast Marine,” Loken said.
