Vicente Boluda Fos to Receive France's Knight of the Legion of Honor Medal

Boluda Corporación Marítima CEO Vicente Boluda Fos will receive the Knight of the Legion of Honour medal in Paris on June 16, in recognition of outstanding services rendered to France by the Valencian businessman. The distinction will be awarded by former president of France Nicolas Sarkozy.Boluda France was created in 2007 after the purchase of the French company Les Abeilles, a company whose activity dates back to 1864.“It is with great pride that I accept this award from the French Republic: I cannot begin to express my gratitude towards the country.

Preventive Measures Against Ebola in Benin, Cotonou

1) For all vessels calling Cotonou port, the agent is required to send to the Harbor Master office a port of call list mentioning the last 10 ports of calls, three days prior to arrival. 2) All vessels arriving from or which have called at a ports in one of the countries infected by Ebola should have on board prevention equipment (gloves, masks, sanitizing gel, etc.). 3) All vessels arriving from or which have called at a port in one of the countries infected by Ebola, and which have prevention equipment onboard, must stay at anchorage and receive FREE PRATIQUE from port health authorities prior to pilot boarding. (Boat transportation cost for embarkation/disembarkation of port health authorities are on the vessel's account and same is to be arranged by the agent).

Boat Transport: Ocean Trade Lines Fix US/Far East Delivery

Florida-based boat transporters Ocean Trade Lines orchestrate transport of two Zyvex Marine vessels, Seattle to Malaysia. Last month Ocean Trade Lines, operating out of South Florida, USA, announced that their cargo-yacht-boat shipping services would expand to now service most of the Far East ports of call. Since the announcement was made, the company has seen a major influx in requests for boat transport services to the region. Ocean Trade Lines now offers a bi-monthly direct service to all major ports of call in the Far East.

Global Boat Transportation Alliance

PSP, which provides worldwide freight forwarding, express courier services and packing as well as boat transportation, is launching a global boat transportation alliance to give its customers a seamless global service. The company has chosen firms in Germany, Italy, Spain, India, South Africa, China, Dubai, Australasia, the USA and Antigua to join the affiliation. By creating an alliance, PSP will be able to strengthen its position within the market, running its own sailings, services and charters and becoming less dependent on shipping lines.
