Braemar Adjusting has agreed a strategic partnership with Beckett Liquidadores de Seguros S.A of Chile, to act as its local resource partner in a number of countries in South America. Braemar Adjusting provides Loss Adjusting, Risk Assessment, Legal/Expert Witness and Dispute Resolution services to the Energy, Marine, Mining and Construction insurance industries, through its strategically-located global network of offices. Braemar Adjusting Makes Several New Appointments

Braemar Adjusting continues its global expansion with the addition of one director in London, two directors in Houston and an energy adjuster in Singapore. Ian McInroy re-joins Braemar’s London office as a Director in October 2013 from a leading international insurance broking and consultancy group, where his primary responsibilities were to design risk transfer programs for offshore energy construction projects and advise clients on the terms and conditions of their energy contracts.

Braemar Adjusting Expands London Team

Braemar Adjusting continues its development and expansion with the recruitment of new personnel to its London-based loss adjusting team. Geoffrey Thomas, Braemar Adjusting Regional Managing Director, said, “We welcome Alan Tucker, Richard Collins and Patricia Castro to our team here in London. Alan Tucker holds a BSc. in Maritime Law/Insurance and Naval architecture and is currently part way through an MBA in Oil & Gas Management. Alan rejoined Braemar in July 2013 after living and consulting in Brazil, having previously worked for Braemar Adjusting (formerly Steege Kingston) from 2000 to 2004 when he spent much of his time working on cases in Europe and West Africa.

Braemar Appoints New Regional Managing Director for Americas

Braemar Adjusting appointed Pierre (Pete) Krouse as Regional Managing Director of the Americas, with effect from April 2, 2013. The selection follows the decision by Chris Dye to leave his current position after more than 13 years with the company and 33 years working as an independent Adjuster. Chris will remain with Braemar Adjusting until April 30 to ensure a seamless transition of his case load and management responsibilities before commencing his new role as Claims Director for Allianz in Houston. Welcoming Pete to his new position, Grant Smith, Braemar Adjusting Group Managing Director, said, “Pete has been with the company for 25 years and was one of the original directors of Steege Kingston.

Braemar Adjusting Opens New Dubai Office

Braemar Adjusting has underlined its commitment to the Middle Eastern onshore and offshore Energy Insurance Market by opening a dedicated loss adjusting operation, based in Dubai. With effect from 1 April 2013, Chris Eades, Regional Director for the Middle East, and Senior Adjuster Sam Foster, will start working from the Dubai World Trade Center Building offices of sister company Braemar Salvage Association, before moving into their own Braemar Adjusting offices later in the year.
