Keppel Wins $226m Offshore order

Keppel Offshore & Marine’s 2013 to-date total to $1.8 billion (USD). Mr. Wong Kok Seng, Managing Director (Offshore) of Keppel O&M and Managing Director of Keppel FELS said, "Falcon Energy entered the offshore oil drilling business when they ordered two jackup rigs from China in 2011 ... Falcon Energy has chosen the KFELS Super B Class design for their new high specification jackup rig, which will be built at our yard in Singapore. "So far this year, Keppel FELS has already delivered six rigs ahead of schedule, safely and on budget. For the latest delivery of AOD II, a KFELS B Class jackup, to Asia Offshore Drilling, we received a bonus of about US$2 million for completing the rig 62 days early.

Keppel AmFELS Secures Mexican Jackup Order

Keppel AmFELS LLC, a US-based wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M), has won a contract from Central Panuco S.A. De C.V., a subsidiary of Mexico's Perforadora Central S.V. De C.V. (Perforadora Central) to build a KFELS B Class jackup rig worth $240 million, including owner furnished equipment. Scheduled for delivery in 4Q 2015, the jackup rig is intended for operations in offshore Mexico. Built to Keppel's market-established KFELS B Class design, the rig will be able to operate in water depths of up to 400 feet, drill to depths of 30,000 feet with accommodation for 126 persons and a BOP system of 18-3/4 x 15,000 PSI. With this latest contract, a total of 13 KFELS B Class jackup rigs have been ordered for the Mexican market since 2010.

Keppel FELS Delivers 11th Jackup to Mexico

Keppel FELS Limited (Keppel FELS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M), has delivered a KFELS B Class jackup rig to Mexican national oil company, Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX), safely, on time and on budget. The rig was named Kukulkan by Lady Sponsor Mrs Valerie Pahl-Hernandez, wife of Mr Gustavo Hernandez Garcia, Director General of PEMEX Exploration & Production, at a ceremony at Keppel FELS this evening. Kukulkan is the second jackup rig Keppel has built directly for PEMEX.

Keppel Secures Repeat Jackup Orders from Clearwater

Keppel FELS Limited (Keppel FELS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine (Keppel O&M) has secured a contract from an affiliate of Clearwater Capital Partners (Clearwater) to build a pair of premium KFELS B Class jackup rigs. The total cost of the project is about $440 million (USD), which also includes owner furnished equipment and project management fees. The rigs are scheduled to be completed in 4Q 2015 and 1Q 2016. Wong Kok Seng, Managing Director (Offshore) of Keppel O&M and Managing Director of Keppel FELS said Keppel FELS has 49 KFELS B Class/Super B Class jackup rigs already delivered and 17 on order. The KFELS B Class jackup rig is able to operate in water depths of up to 400 feet, drill to 30,000 feet deep and equipped with offline standbuilding capability.

Keppel FELS Delivers Second Jackup Rig to Oro Negro

Keppel FELS delivered a second KFELS B Class jackup rig to offshore Mexican oil field services company, Integradora de Servicios Petroleros Oro Negro. Named Laurus at Keppel FELS today, the rig was delivered eleven days early and with a perfect safety record, Keppel noted. Laurus is the second of two high-specification jackup rigs that Keppel FELS has built for Oro Negro which will be chartered to PEMEX, Mexico's national oil company, for deployment in offshore Mexico. The first rig, Primus, was delivered in December last year. Mr. Wong Kok Seng, Managing Director (Offshore) of Keppel Offshore & Marine and Managing Director of Keppel FELS, said, "This delivery is the eighth by Keppel FELS this year, and in a year where we aim to deliver a record 20 rigs.

Keppel FELS to Deliver Ukraine’s second KFELS B Class Jackup Rig

Keppel FELS Limited (Keppel FELS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M), is on track to deliver Ukraine's second KFELS B Class jackup rig ahead of schedule, within budget and with a perfect safety record. This follows the redelivery of their first jackup rig of the same design, in Ukraine in May this year. Built to Keppel's proprietary KFELS B Class design, this second jackup rig will be deployed on the Ukrainian shelf of the Black Sea for its owner Chernomornaftogaz. According to Ukraine's official estimates in 2011, the country boasts proven reserves of natural gas (1200 billion cubic meters) and oil and gas condensate (220 million tons).

Keppel FELS $110M Contract

Keppel FELS Ltd (Keppel FELS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Corporation Ltd, has secured a contract to build a KFELS B Class jackup valued at US$110 million for Gulf Drilling International Limited (GDI), Qatar’s first national drilling company. The jackup, GULF-4, well suited in the Arabian Gulf and Indian waters, will be built to Keppel FELS’ proprietary design. It will be capable of operating in 300 feet water depth, drilling down to 30,000 feet and accommodating 110 men.

UMW Orders another Jackup Rig from Keppel

UMW NAGA 4 was delivered in February 2013.

Keppel FELS Limited, a subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M), has secured a contract from UMW Drilling 8 Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of UMW Oil & Gas Corporation Sdn. Bhd., for a KFELS B Class jackup rig worth $218 million (USD). It will be the third KFELS B Class jackup rig for UMW Oil & Gas and is scheduled for delivery in 3Q 2015. The first jackup - UMW NAGA 4 - was delivered in February 2013 and the second - UMW NAGA 5 - is expected to be completed by 2Q 2014.

Keppel Earn Bonuses For Early Rig Completions

Keppel FELS complete two rigs early for Transocean and Asia Offshore Drilling, earning a combined US$1.5-milliion bonus. Over two consecutive days Keppel FELS held naming ceremonies for twin jackup rigs built for Transocean, and another jackup rig built for Asia Offshore Drilling (AOD), which is majority owned and managed by Seadrill Limited. Transocean named twin Super B Class Bigfoot jackup rigs, Transocean Siam Driller and the yet to be completed Transocean Andaman, at a ceremony in Keppel FELS in the presence of Guest of Honour, Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Customised to meet Transocean's requirements, the two rigs are contracted to Chevron for work in offshore Thailand.

Keppel FELS Delivers Jackup Rig

Keppel FELS Limited (Keppel FELS), a subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M), delivered a KFELS B Class jackup rig to the National Drilling Company of Abu Dhabi (NDC) 18 days ahead of schedule. At its inauguration ceremony held in Abu Dhabi recently, Mr Tong Chong Heong, Managing Director/Chief Operating Officer of Keppel O&M, said, "The early delivery of Al-Hail is testament to Keppel's promise to our customers to complete our projects on-time, on-budget and above all, safely. We are fully committed to this amid our heavy orderbook. Al-Hail is NDC's first newbuild jackup in 20 years. It is also the first KFELS B Class jackup customised to meet NDC's requirements for a cost-effective rig.

Keppel Delivers PV Drilling III Jackup Early

Keppel FELS Limited (Keppel FELS) has been awarded a bonus of $460,000 for delivering the KFELS B Class jackup rig, PV Drilling III, early to PetroVietnam Drilling & Well Services Corp (PV Drilling). Completed 1.5 months ahead of schedule, without incidents, PV Drilling III has departed Keppel FELS for Vietnam to begin a five-year contract with Vietsovpetro in the Bach Ho field, offshore Vietnam. Keppel Expands Foothold in Mexican Offshore Market

Keppel FELS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel O&M), has won a contract from PEMEX Exploracion y Produccion, a subsidiary of Mexico's national oil company, Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX), to build two KFELS B Class jackup rigs worth US$420 million. Scheduled for delivery in 1Q 2015, the high specification rigs will be the 19th and 20th KFELS B Class rigs on order at Keppel, with 36 already delivered in the past decade. When completed, the two rigs will join a number of KFELS B Class jackup rigs built by Keppel for Mexican customers. This includes the Primus jackup rig recently delivered to Oro Negro as well as the Tonala rig operated by Peforadora Central.

Keppel Delivers Arabian Drilling Company Rig

Keppel delivers its 45th KFELS B Class jackup rig with another 18 such rigs on order. These KFELS B Class rigs make up more than 30% of the total jackups completed globally since 2000. The rig was delivered to Arabian Drilling Company (ADC) 14 days ahead of schedule, on budget and with a perfect safety record. Keppel FELS earning them an early delivery bonus of US$210,000. Named ArabDrill 50 at a ceremony, the rig will be chartered to Saudi Aramco for operations in offshore Saudi Arabia.

Keppel Secures $225 Million Order From Ensco

Keppel FELS Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine has secured a contract to construct a KFELS B Class jackup rig, ENSCO 110, from Ensco plc. The construction cost, together with the commissioning, systems integration testing and project management is expected to be approximately $225 million (USD). It is the 61st KFELS B Class Jackup ordered since 2000. When completed in 1Q 2015, it will be the fourth KFELS B Class Bigfoot jackup rig in Ensco's fleet. Keppel has built a long-term partnership with Ensco having delivered 16 newbuild projects to them with another four on order, including this latest contract. The KFELS B Class Bigfoot rig is able to operate in water depths of up to 400 feet and drill to 30,000 feet deep.

Keppel Delivers Seadrill’s Fifth KFELS B Class Jackup

Keppel FELS Limited (Keppel FELS) is on track towards an on-budget and on time delivery of the KFELS B Class jackup rig, West Callisto, to Seadrill Limited (Seadrill) before the end of July 2010. Keppel’s Third Jackup Order from Asia Offshore Drilling

Keppel FELS Limited's repeat customer, Asia Offshore Drilling Limited ("AOD") has exercised its first of two options to build a KFELS B Class jackup rig worth US$184 million. The effectiveness of this first option is subject to AOD or its wholly owned subsidiary entering into a construction contract with Keppel FELS and fulfilling certain conditions precedent. This rig will be AOD's third with Keppel FELS and is scheduled for delivery in 3Q2013. AOD, established by Singapore listed Mermaid Maritime Public Company Limited ("Mermaid"), had placed orders for two KFELS B Class jackup rigs in December 2010. Last week, AOD announced the completion of a private placement which will result in Mermaid and Seadrill Ltd. each having a 33.75% equal shareholding ownership in AOD. M.L.

Keppel FELS Delivers Another Premium Rig

Keppel FELS has delivered a KFELS B Class jackup rig, to Constructora y Perforadora Latina (CP LATINA), a private Mexican company in the energy sector. The rig was named La Santa Mariaat a ceremony in Keppel FELS. Delivered on time and with a perfect safety record, it will be chartered to Pemex, Mexico's national oil company, for deployment in offshore Mexico. La Santa Maria  is the first of two high-specification jackup rigs that Keppel FELS is building for CP Latina. The second rig is on schedule to be delivered in 4Q 2013. Keppel Secures B Class Jackup Rig Order

Keppel FELS Limited (Keppel FELS) has secured a contract with Vision Drilling Pte Ltd (Vision Drilling), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dynamic Offshore Drilling Limited (Dynamic Offshore Drilling), to build its first KFELS B Class jackup drilling rig for US$180 million. Slated for delivery in 1Q2013, the rig will be able to operate in water depths of 350 feet with a drilling depth of 30,000 feet and accommodate 120 men. Dynamic Offshore Drilling has the option to build an additional rig to be exercised before 3Q2011.

Keppel Tapped to Build $126M Rig

Keppel, Consortium Secure Jackup Contract

Keppel Kazakhstan LLP (Keppel Kazakhstan) and its consortium partner Ersai Caspian Contractor LLC, Kazakhstan (Ersai Caspian Contractor), have secured a contract from Teniz Burgylau LLP (Teniz Burgylau), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of JSC NC "KazMunayGas" (KazMunayGas) of Kazakhstan, for a KFELS B Class jackup rig worth US$242 million. Scheduled for delivery in 1Q 2015, the jackup rig will be deployed in the Caspian Sea when completed. The work scope of the rig will be shared equally among the two members of the consortium. According to the Oil and Gas Journal dated January 2010, Kazakhstan's proven oil reserves was estimated at 30 billion barrels and its natural gas reserves at 85 trillion cubic feet.

Keppel FELS Delivers 21st Rig of 2013
