Colfax Names Bramstång Sales Director

Colfax Fluid Handling, a business of Colfax Corporation and company in fluid-handling solutions for critical applications, has named Carl-Henrik Bramstång Sales Director, Shipowner Sales. His new role will include the sales efforts for the company’s latest technology breakthrough, the Smart Technology CM-1000 Series, an intelligent controller for sea water cooling systems. Bramstång is a seasoned sales professional with almost 30 years of experience, including 22 years in various sales positions of increasing responsibility with Colfax Fluid Handling.

Colfax Adds Active Control Valve to CM-1000

Colfax Fluid Handling, a business of Colfax Corporation, introduced an Active Valve Control option to its Smart Technology CM-1000 Series intelligent sea water cooling system controller. The CM-1000 Series with optional Active Valve Control may be applied to both newbuild and retrofit operations. Introduced in April and featured at Nor-Shipping 2013, the CM-1000 Series is designed to enhance shipboard sea water cooling system pumping efficiency while lowering operating and maintenance costs and maximizing uptime for greener, sustainable operation.

Colfax to Supply Pumps for Massive Heavy-lifting Ship

Colfax Fluid Handling, a business of Colfax Corporation, was awarded a contract as the exclusive supplier of hydraulic pumps for a ship capable of lifting the topside structures from offshore platforms. With a lifting capacity of up to 48,000 tons, the ship will remove topsides in one piece and transport them to land for deconstruction. Colfax Fluid Handling Introduce ALLMIND Pump System

ALLMIND will protect a pump, maximises efficiency, lower energy usage and lower maintenance and spare parts costs, claims manufacturer Colfax Fluid Handling (a business of Colfax Corporation a leader in critical fluid-handling, transfer solutions for the commercial marine, defense, oil & gas, power and industry).
