Total E&P is First to Use FROG-XT4

Total E&P is the first to use Reflex Marine’s newly developed FROG-XT4 on the Odudu field in Nigeria. The French operator purchased the crew transfer device primarily for carrying out inter-field transfers. They have already found the device to be an invaluable backup method for when adverse weather conditions result in helicopters being unable to fly. Feedback from Total highlights the devices advancements on Reflex Marine’s original FROG-3, previously supplied by the crew transfer company.

Reflex Marine to Debut FROG-XT

Reflex Marine said it is set to unveil its newly developed crane transfer device FROG-XT at this year’s Offshore Europe. The company has largely specialized in crane transfer and offshore access with its two key products, FROG and TORO, driving forward improved safety standards. The FROG-XT is an evolution of the current FROG capsule and captures over 20 years of Reflex Marine’s vast learning and experience. Reflex Marine will showcase a prototype of the FROG-XT at its booth at Offshore Europe, which takes place at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Center September 3-6.

Reflex Marine Launches Toro Transfer Device

Reflex Marine launched its revolutionary Toro personnel transfer capsule on Jan. 21 in Aberdeen, Scotland at the same time announcing the unit’s first sales. The launch celebration at the Maritime Museum, followed a demonstration at Woollard & Henry, Aberdeen. Following purchases by Chevron and BG Group, the crew transfer device will soon be operating in the North Sea and North Africa.
