Latest GEOSHIPS Vessel Secures Multimillion Pounds Worth of Contracts

GEOSHIPS Group has announced two contract wins worth a combined value of £3 million for the company’s latest vessel. Following an open day on-board the Loch Roag for potential clients, the vessel secured work in the North Sea with two new customers for GEOSHIPS. The forecasted revenue for the DP2 (dynamically positioned) multi purpose support vessel for the next 12 months is valued at nearly £10 million. The Westhill-based company, which was formed in 2003, took delivery of the Loch Roag in April on a contract valued at over £30 million. It resulted in the employment of 40 new offshore staff.

GEOSHIPS to Operate, Manage New DP1 Craft

GEOSHIPS creates 40 new jobs with delivery of latest vessel. GEOSHIPS Group, a marine and subsea services provider, has completed charter party negotiations with Singapore based Teras Offshore, for a new Offshore Deck Cargo Vessel, resulting in the planned recruitment of a further 40 offshore staff. Formed in 2003, Westhill-based GEOSHIPS will operate, manage and crew the DP1 (dynamic positioning) Loch Seaforth vessel, which has been contracted on a three year bareboat charter, with options to extend.

GEOSHIPS Extends Fleet Following Successful Year for First Vessel

SeaHold GEOSHIPS Ltd., a marine and subsea services shipping company, has taken delivery of its second multi-purpose support vessel (MPSV) on a contract valued at over £30million, following a successful year for its current vessel, the Stril Explorer. Formed in 2003, Aberdeen-based GEOSHIPS will manage and crew the MPSV Loch Roag vessel, which it has taken on a five-year bareboat charter basis from Otto Marine Ltd. The contract is valued at  £22million ($36.5 million) over five years with an option to extend the contract for two more years…

Security Strengthened with New Escort Vessel

SeaHold GEOSHIPS Ltd’s subsidiary company Brooking Shipping Limited (BSL), has been awarded a contract for an escort vessel which is anticipated to generate £1.9million each year. This is the first contract BSL has been awarded since being acquired by the shipping and marine contractor, GEOSHIPS. BSL, the marine division of GEOSHIPS, has been appointed the escort vessel contract by Mercator International Limited, for the technical and crew management of the new build 36m vessel, Express Opportune.

SeaHold GEOSHIPS Adds Two New Offshore Vessels

SeaHold GEOSHIPS expanded its fleet of multi-purpose offshore vessels. The two new vessels ‘Loch Erisort’ and ‘Loch Roag’ brings the Aberdeen-based firm’s fleet up to three, while also signifying a $140m in additional financial commitment. The new vessels, which are both of Vik & Sandvik VS470 design will be delivered in Quarter 1 2012 and Quarter 4 2012 respectively and are actively being promoted to the Oil and Gas market for long-term work. Brooklyn Shipping Installs Marine Software on Latest Newbuild

U.K based Marine Software Ltd have recently supplied Brooklyn Shipping, a SeaHold GEOSHIPS Group Company with MPM - Marine Planned Maintenance , MSK - Marine Storekeeper and the MPS – Marine Purchasing system for their latest new build Vessel "Loch Erisort" (DWT 2,900) and their Aberdeen Office. Built in the Tebma Shipyard, India, this Wartsila VS 470 MPOVMk III design vessel is initially intended for Far East operations working within the ROV and renewables markets, but will primarily operate world wide.

GEOSHIPS Acquisition, Doubling of Staff

Aberdeen-based SeaHold GEOSHIPS Limited (GEOSHIPS) has announced the acquisition of marine management services company Brooklyn Shipping Ltd (BSL). The acquisition is expected to lead to BSL’s staff numbers more than doubling to 80 this year and also contribute to a significant increase in GEOSHIPS’ pre-tax earnings on its projected turnover of nearly £50million for 2012. Formed in 2003, GEOSHIPS has a strong focus on offshore renewable energy projects, whilst also being able to offer services in support of subsea oil and gas related projects. It chartered its first multi-purpose offshore vessel, the Stril Explorer, from Mokster A/S until 31st August 2012 to support the growing offshore renewable energy market and the subsea sector.
