Applied Weather Technology, Inc. (AWT), released GlobalView 2.0, a new version of its fleet management system featuring port forecasts, tide data, tools for customization and direct access to bunker pricing. The new version also includes improved safety features including global ice concentrations and spot forecasts with the latest weather and wave conditions. AWT Wins Safety at Sea Award

Applied Weather Technology, Inc. (AWT) announced that an expert judging panel has selected AWT, with its innovative fleet management system GlobalView, as the winner of the Systems category for the fifth annual Safety at Sea International Awards. AWT was also recognized as a finalist in the category of Security.
