EMAS AMC Secures $75 million SURF EPCI Statoil Contract

EMAS AMC, the subsea services division of EMAS, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas industry and the operating brand of Ezra Holdings Limited, announced today that it has been awarded a subsea engineering, procurement and offshore construction contract from Statoil for the Smørbukk South Extension’s project. The contract is valued at approximately $75 million. Discovered in 1985, the Smørbukk South Extension holds estimated recoverable reserves of 16.5 million barrels of oil equivalent, and will be developed with a new subsea template connected to existing infrastructure in the area.

EMAS AMC Partners with Cecon for Pipelay Work

Lewek Centurion (formerly Caesar) to install pipelines in support of existing Cecon projects. EMAS AMC, the subsea services division of EMAS, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas (O&G) industry and the operating brand of Ezra Holdings Limited, announced  that its pipelay vessel, the Lewek Centurion has been contracted by Cecon in the North Sea for some 60 kilometers of pipeline installation work, in support of Cecon’s 2013 project commitments currently in-hand. Both parties have expressed a shared commitment to explore further opportunities for cooperation in the future. The Lewek Centurion is a 146 meters long DP-2 deepwater S-lay vessel with a 405Te pipelay tension capacity and a 300Te crane.

EMAS AMC Installs 50 Platforms for Chevron

EMAS AMC, the subsea services division of EMAS, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas industry has achieved the milestone of installing 50 platforms for Chevron in the Gulf of Thailand. Under a multiyear contract that commenced in 2011, EMAS AMC has also laid 376km of subsea pipes utilizing the construction vessel Lewek Champion, a DP2 rigid pipe laying vessel with heavy lift capabilities. Chevron has since extended the contract to 2015 with a further option thereafter. In 2014, EMAS AMC is expected to install 25 pipelines and 10 platforms of which 15 and seven, respectively, have already been completed. emas.com

EMAS Wins Statoil Contract

EMAS AMC, the subsea services division of EMAS, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas industry, announced today that it has won a contract from Statoil for the transport and installation of subsea templates for the Norwegian Sea’s deepest offshore project – the Aasta Hansteen field development. EMAS AMC’s scope of work includes the transport and installation of two four-slot templates and one single-slot template. All templates will be transported from Aker Solutions’ facilities in Sandnessjøen in Norway. EMAS AMC will utilize its advanced subsea construction vessel, Lewek Connector, for transport and installation work, and will partner local suppliers in Sandnessjøen for most of the required work preparations and vessel supplies.

Beijer Electronics Unveils X2 Extreme Panels

Beijer Electronics has rolled out its new X2 extreme family of rugged HMIs for tough environments. X2 extreme panels are certified by all major classification societies. Designed to perform in rugged environments and in hazardous areas where gases, vapors and dust are present. Extended environmental capabilities include operating temperatures from -30°C to +70°C, high vibrations and high-pressure wash-downs. X2 extreme panels are available in 7, 12 and 15 inches, all in three versions: Standard versions, high-performance versions and fully sealed high-performance versions.

Vietnam Offshore Contract for EMAS AMC

EMAS AMC contracted by Petroleum Technical Services Corporation Mechanical and Construction to provide facilities for the Dua sub-sea field. Singapore-based EMAS AMC, the subsea division of EMAS, a leading global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas (O&G) industry, has been awarded a contract from Petroleum Technical Services Corporation Mechanical and Construction (PTSC M&C) for the transportation and installation of facilities for the Dua subsea field, which will be developed as a subsea tie-back to the Chim Sao Field in offshore Vietnam. The contract value is approximately US$47-million and will commence in the third quarter of 2012.

EMAS Wins Subsea Projects Worth More han $125M

EMAS, the operating brand of Ezra Holdings, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas industry, today announced that the group has been awarded subsea construction and offshore support contracts in Asia Pacific and West Africa with a combined value exceeding $125 million, including options. Following contract wins in January, EMAS AMC continued its momentum with subsea contracts awarded in West Africa and Asia, including a deepwater pipeline installation project in the South China Sea.

EMAS Awarded $505 Million in New Projects

EMAS, the operating brand of Ezra Holdings, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas industry, announced that its Subsea Services (EMAS AMC) and Offshore Support Services (EMAS Marine) divisions have been awarded projects worth approximately $505 million. These projects will be executed in the North Sea, Africa, the Gulf of Mexico and the Asia-Pacific region. EMAS AMC has received a letter of intent for a $120 million project offshore West Africa in 2014 utilizing its flagship vessel, the Lewek Constellation together with the Lewek Express. Based on its heavy-lift capabilities, the Lewek Constellation will execute jacket and deck installation, with the Lewek Express undertaking the SURF and rigid pipeline installation scope.

EMAS Demonstrates All-round Strength

More than US$160 million worth of contracts won by the subsea services, offshore support services divisions, and the energy services division. EMAS, the operating brand of Ezra Holdings, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas (O&G) industry, has announced that its subsea services, offshore support services and energy services divisions (EMAS AMC, EMAS Marine and EMAS Energy respectively) have been awarded multiple contracts for projects in the North Sea and Asia Pacific. EMAS AMC has been awarded several new contracts and options worth up to US$85 million in aggregate for several projects in the North Sea and Asia. This includes a project with an oil major in the Asia Pacific region worth up to US$45 million.

EMAS sees strong start to 2012 with further global contract wins worth US$120 million - 12 January 2012. EMAS, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas (O&G) industry and operating brand for Ezra Holdings Limited (Ezra or the Group, 以斯拉控股), today announces two further contract wins worth a total of up to US$120 million for the Group. The offshore support services division, EMAS Marine, has been awarded a new charter by an oil major for a vessel to be deployed in the Asia Pacific region in the 2nd quarter of 2012. The contract has a one year firm period and an additional option period of two years with an aggregate contract value of up to US$107million (including option periods).

Ezra Holdings Limited, a leading contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas industry, today announced that the Group’s Subsea Services division, EMAS AMC, has won multiple new awards from various energy companies valued at over US$70 million. The scope of work includes subsea installation of umbilicals, flowlines and jumpers, as well as provision of services to support rigs. Work has commenced for several projects, with the others slated for offshore execution from Q4 2014 to Q2 2015.

EMAS Wins $165m Norwegian North Sea Contract

EMAS AMC, the subsea services division of EMAS, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas industry, was awarded an engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract, valued at approximately US$165 million, from Det norske oljeselskap ASA, an exploration and drilling operator on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The contract is for rigid pipe-lay and related subsea work, in the Ivar Aasen field in the Norwegian North Sea.

EMAS AMC Wins $126 Million Floater Installation Contract

EMAS AMC, the subsea services division of EMAS, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas industry and the operating brand of Ezra Holdings Limited, has announced that it has been awarded a transport and floater installation contract for two FSUs, with an option for a third, from Statoil for their Heidrun and Mariner fields. The contract is valued at approximately $126 million (*1), including options. C.J. The work scope for all three projects consists of the pre-installation of mooring systems, followed by the transport, hook-up and installation of the FSUs in their respective fields. EMAS Awarded Gunflint GoM Project

EMAS, the operating brand of Ezra Holdings, a global offshore contractor and provider of integrated offshore solutions to the oil and gas (O&G) industry, today announced that it has received a Letter of Agreement (LOA) from Noble Energy for the Gunflint Project in the Gulf of Mexico (GoM). Under the terms of the agreement EMAS’s Subsea Services division, EMAS AMC has been nominated to perform the offshore installation of pipelines, umbilicals and ancillary equipment for the Gunflint Project in the Mississippi Canyon area of the US GoM in water depths in excess of 2,000 meters. Aker Enters Offshore Floating Wind Market

Norwegian oil and gas specialist Aker Solutions has invested in floating wind power technology company Principle Power, with the aim to brings its offshore oil and gas field engineering experience to the renewable energy market. Aker Solutions has an extensive track record in developing offshore oil and gas fields, with particular capabilities in floating facilities. The partnership will help bring Principle Power's technology - an innovative floating foundation for offshore wind turbines, known as WindFloat - to a broader market.

At this year’s Seatrade Maritime Middle East Exhibition taking place in Dubai, Jawar Al Khaleej Shipping LLC (JAK) signed a contract with Damen Shipyards Group for the supply of three vessels: one Fast Crew Supplier (FCS) 5009 and two ASD Tugs 3213. Singapore-based Emas Offshore announced that CEO and Executive Director Capt. Adarash Kumar has tendered his resignation and his last day of service will be on April 6, 2018. In a stock exchange filing, the operating brand for Ezra Holdings said that Kumar will continue in his duties and responsibilities pending the appointment of a suitable candidate in due course. He was appointed to the Board as Non-Independent, Non-Executive Director on 26 Aug 2014, and re-designated as an Executive Director on 1 May 2015. He was appointed CEO on 25 Sep 2015. Capt.

Chinese Shipyards and Siemens Offer Solutions

Siemens is teaming up with Chinese shipyards to build up a reputation as key player in the international offshore market which is currently dominated by countries like Korea and Singapore. Offshore market moves from shallow water jackets to deepwater floaters. The challenges in China lies in the exploration and development of new oil and gas deposits in areas that are more difficult to access, such as in the South China Sea.
