Damen Patrol Vessels for Offshore Nigeria

Damen recently delivered a pair of FCS 3307 high-spec patrol vessels to be operated by Homeland Integrated Offshore Services (Homeland IOS Ltd) in Nigeria, and now the boats are being prepared for their assignments. The boats will be deployed in the Gulf of Guinea to protect and support the offshore assets of Homeland’s clients which include many international oil companies.Features of the 33-m vessels include Damen’s trademark Axe Bow hull form that delivers excellent fuel economy and a top speed of 29 knots together with superb maneuverability and excellent seakeeping.

RWO Reports Boosted Sales in 2014

RWO GmbH, manufacturer of water treatment plants in the maritime sector, said the Bremen-based company increased orders received in its core business by 32% in the first four months of 2014 compared to the same period last year. Polarcus Adira & Amani

Polarcus Limited received its eighth 3D seismic vessel in June, when Polarcus Adira was delivered at Ulstein Verft in Norway. Alfa Laval Celebrates 125 Years

During 2010, Alfa Laval has been celebrating a milestone – creating better everyday conditions for people in over 20 industries with a broad product portfolio focused on three key technologies: heat transfer, separation and fluid handling. Westfalia Separator Tapped By NASSCO

Westfalia Separator has received an order from NASSCO for fuel oil and lube oil separators to be implemented on a pair of ice strengthened, environmentally safe RoRo newbuilds for Totem Ocean Trailer Express (TOTE). Designed to carry 600 feu and 200 vehicles at a service speed of 24 knots, the 256 m vessels are scheduled for delivery in April and September 2002. The vessels' supply scope will consist of one plant for treating heavy oil and diesel oil, which includes a trio of separators, type OSC 50, one plant for treating the lube oil of the main engines that includes four separators, type OSC 30. One additional plant that will be used to treat the lube oil of the auxiliary engines includes two separators type OSC 5.
