TOS Ship Delivery “Project Cargo” to South-America

A special ship delivery project left TOS’ homeport of Waalhaven in Rotterdam as a German coaster and a Belgian inland pusher guided "Project Cargo" for its delivery destination in South-America, a voyage that will last approximately four weeks. Van der Kolk said, “This job combines our services in the field of Ship Management, Ship Delivery and Crewing together and fits us like a glove. Even for TOS a Project Cargo ship delivery is a challenging job. First of all TOS picked up a coaster for the client in Papenburg (Germany). The TOS crew started up the vessel from dead ship.

TOS Delivers Tug for Paraguayan Client

TOS conducted its first ship delivery for a client based in Paraguay. The GF Humaita has been purchased by a client in Singapore and will be delivered to Uruguay, Montevideo. The tug left Singapore in the beginning of December 2013. Last weekend the tug had a stop-over for bunkering in Cape Town, South Africa. “Some years ago TOS advised the client on the delivery of a pusher. Our contact person was very pleased about the advice which resulted in the ship delivery request of the GF Humaita in 2013.” said Ronald van der Kolk, Manager Division Ship Management.

T.O.S. Offers New Training Program

As of May 2012, T.O.S. will also offer a new service: a full ASD Training Program at any location worldwide. For years T.O.S. has been a worldwide specialist in the transportation of vessels on their own keel. With the growth of the number of performed ship deliveries (in particular of ASD vessels) T.O.S. became an expert in supplying ASD captains, delivering ASD tug boats and providing ASD training on the spot for the new crew. “We often noticed that customers highly valued our on the spot training after a ship delivery.
