Telford Offshore Cuts Share Count

International offshore services company, Telford Offshore, has unwound the share trust originally set up when it was formed via a corporate restructuring in February 2018.The 2018 restructuring brought the first four of Telford Offshore’s DP3 vessels into the group and assigned both shares and bonds to the former bondholders of Sea Trucks Group Limited (in liquidation) (STG). Telford Offshore had then acquired a DP-3 pipelay and accommodation vessel and six offshore support vessels following a legal settlement between STG and West African Ventures.The purpose of the trust was to hold shares in the group’s parent company, Telford Offshore Holdings Limited (TOHL)…

Telford Offshore Adds Seven Vessels

Dubai headquartered offshore service company Telford Offshore said it has acquired an additional DP3 pipelay and accommodation vessel, and six offshore support vessels following a legal settlement between Sea Trucks Group (STGL in liquidation) and West African Ventures (WAV).The acquisition nearly triples the Telford Offshore fleet, up from four vessels to 11.The DP3 vessel Jascon 30 is set to be dry docked in the coming months and upgraded in preparation for utilization across the globe under its new name Telford 30.

Timas Suplindo Charters Telford Construction Vessel

Telford Offshore: A New Offshore Services Provider

There’s a new name in the global oil and gas industry: Telford Offshore, which officially launched today after acquiring four vessels from Sea Trucks Group following its liquidation. The newly formed contracting company acquired four DP3 multipurpose offshore construction vessels which can support multiple activities, focusing on high capacity accommodation combined with lifting, fabrication and installation services. Sea Trucks Wins IMR Work in West Africa

Netherlands-based Sea Trucks Group (STG) said it has secured a contract award from an oil major in West Africa. STG was awarded an inspection, maintenance and repair contract for anoil major in West Africa with commencement during Q4 2016. Sea Trucks Awarded Contract Offshore Ghana

Sea Trucks Group said it has secured a contract award from Tullow Ghana Limited for the provision of a Construction Support Vessel (CSV) providing Accommodation and Heavy Lift services to the turret moored FPSO Kwame Nkrumahe, located in the Jubilee Unit Area, 60 km offshore Ghana. The scope of work covers accommodation for up to 120 company pax. The scope also includes the heavy lift of two 50 Ton fairlead chain stopper foundation block structures, a 34 Ton mooring pull-in winch and other smaller lifts.

Sea Trucks Secures Contract in Nigeria

Sea Trucks Group said its principle Nigerian business, West African Ventures, has been awarded a contract for the provision of an accommodation vessel to a deepwater field, offshore Nigeria. The scope of work covers accommodation support services for 250 pax, as well as to provide marine logistics support for the execution of the turnaround maintenance work scopes during the turnaround project. Jascon 30, one of the group’s DP3 accommodation construction vessels, has been nominated for the scope. Jascon 30 is equipped with a 270 mT heave compensated main crane.

Sea Trucks Awarded Contract in Mexico

Sea Trucks Group has secured a charter for the Jascon 31 from Permaducto S.A. de C.V. (Protexa) for the provision of Accommodation and Heavy Lift services in the Gulf of Mexico. Sea Trucks will provide accommodation and lifting services in support of repair works at Pemex Line 221 at the Abkatun-A Platform in the Abkatun field in the Gulf of Mexico for a period of 50 days. After completion Sea Trucks will provide similar services at Pemex Lines 63a and 65 in the Ku-Maloob-Zaap Field for a period of 42 days plus options.

ACE Winches Bags Order from Vard

Deck machinery specialist ACE Winches said it has been awarded a spooling contract with Vard Group AS for Norway’s largest construction vessel. The scope of work includes the spooling of two 3,500 meter ROV umbilicals, the spooling of a crane boom wire and aux wire, including 3,900 meters of 135mm wire on to the vessel’s crane. The largest wire on this project weighs 360te, ACE Winches had to build a new upgraded spooling winch to accommodate the weight. The contract will see a dedicated team work on the project.

Pipelay, Construction Work Completed for Chevron in Nigeria

A pipelay and construction campaign for the Sonam Field Development Project for Chevron Nigeria Ltd. has been successfully completed, announced Sea Trucks Group. The contract for the project was awarded to West African Ventures Ltd, Sea Trucks’ principle Nigerian business in June 2015. The Sonam Field Development Project is located in shelf concession OML 91, Escravos Area, offshore Nigeria, in water depths ranging from 7 meters around Okan to 66 meters at Sonam. Sea Trucks Secures Flotel Contract for Malikai Project

Sea Trucks Group has been awarded a contract from Sabah Shell Petroleum Company Limited for the provision of flotel services for the Malikai deepwater development project, located 100 kilometers off Sabah, Malaysia, at a water depth of around 500 meters. The platform is located within the area of the Block G Production Sharing Contract in the South China Sea. The scope of work consists of providing accommodation support services for 200 construction personnel. The contract will be for a period of two months, with options to extend.

Sea Trucks Returns to the Gulf of Mexico

Offshore installation services provider Sea Trucks Group announced it has been awarded a charter contract for its accommodation construction vessel Jascon 31 to operate in the Gulf of Mexico, marking the groups return to the region. The contract will see Sea Trucks provide accommodation support services, lifting operations and installation work to Permaducto S.A. de C.V. for works on the KMZ68/69 project from Pemex for a period of 95 days, plus options. Sea Trucks Wins First Contract in Brazil

Sea Trucks Group announced the award of its first contract in Brazil. Sea Trucks, a global provider of offshore installation services to the oil and gas industry, said it will provide accommodation support services to Saipem for 300 POB, including lifting operations, storage support and logistic support services for the modification work of a floating production storage and offloading vessels (FPSO). The group selected its DP3 accommodation support vessel, Jascon 28, for the work.

C has been awarded a second installation contract for a development in Nigeria to West African Ventures, Sea Trucks’ principle Nigerian business. Sea Trucks Signs $130m Facility for Offshore Newbuild

Sea Trucks Group Limited, an international oil and gas marine contractor with a track record in the key oil and gas producing regions, particularly West Africa, announced a $130 million facility to finance the completion of Jascon 18 has been signed. Jascon 18, a 150-meter DP3 multipurpose construction support vessel, will continue the final stages of outfitting at the Kwong-Soon shipyard in Singapore where work on the accommodation blocks, cabling, piping and installation of a 1,800-ton main crane has already begun. The vessel is expected to be delivered in Q3 2015.

Contract Win Brings Sea Trucks to the Arctic

Sea Trucks Group announced it has been awarded a contract from Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering for the provision of an accommodation vessel for the Arkutun-Dagi Project operated by Exxon Neftegas Limited in Sakhalin, Russia. Sea Truck’s Jascon 25 vessel will be used for the project, which is expected to commence in Q2 2014 for a duration of 120 days, with options to extend the contract up to 90 days. Imtech Wins Big O&G Vessel Orders

Imtech received an order from the Sembawang Shipyard in Singapore to provide the environmentally friendly (diesel) electric propulsion, automation and high and low voltage systems on board the ‘Borealis’, a crane vessel measuring 183 x 46 m. This vessel will operate in the international oil and gas market for Nordic Heavy Lift. The Borealis, with a 5,000-tonne lifting capacity, will be able to install or remove entire topsides at oil and gas platforms. It will also be able to perform work at 3,000 m below sea level. The hull will be built in China, after which Imtech, via its branches Imtech Marine & Offshore (Rotterdam) and Radio Holland (Singapore), will implement and commission the technology.
