Norwegian offshore vessel provider Havila Shipping has said that Shell has cut the contract for the Havila Crusader platform supply vessel early.The vessel was chartered from January 18, 2020, for a period of 2 wells firm in the UK, when, according to Havila Shipping, the parties agreed on an estimated charter period of one year. Aberdeen-based Awilco Drilling said today that it had tied up a contract with Shell UK for the decommissioning of 18 wells. "Awilco Drilling PLC is pleased to confirm that a contract has been signed with Shell UK Limited for the provision of WilPhoenix for a decommissioning program of 18 firm wells plus options totalling a further 8 wells," said a press release from the company. The firm 18 well program has an estimated duration of 330 days and is scheduled to commence around 1 September 2018. The contract value for the firm term is estimated at USD 38.3 million. WilPhoenix is one of Awilco Drilling's two Enhanced Pacesetter semi-submersibles and is equipped for drilling in water depths up to 1,200 ft.

Prosafe announced it has signed a contract worth approximately $24 million with Shell U.K. Limited for the provision of the Regalia semi-submersible accommodation vessel at the Brent C platform in the U.K. sector of the North Sea. The short duration contract commencing in the second quarter of 2016 will provide dynamically positioned (NMD3) gangway connection for the duration of the project. The contract award follows the Regalia recently completing an assignment for Shell at the Shearwater platform. The Singapore-flagged Regalia was built in 1985 at GVA Sweden to an enhanced GVA 3000 design.

Technip has been awarded a brownfield subsea contract for the Triton(1) floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel, operated by Dana Petroleum, located in the central North Sea. This FPSO vessel is located 193 kilometers east of Aberdeen, at a water depth of approximately 90 meters. It produces oil and gas from different fields - Bittern, Guillemot West and North West, Clapham, Pict and Saxon, which are tied back to the FPSO vessel via subsea facilities comprising a series of pipelines and manifolds.  additional installation, repair and maintenance works. Technip’s operating center in Aberdeen, United Kingdom (UK), will execute this contract which is a continuation of similar work successfully completed in 2014.

Technip is awarded an EPIC contract  for Gannet F reinstatement project, situated in the North Sea. The engineering, procurement, installation and construction (EPIC) contract for the project is located in the North Sea, 180 kilometers east of Aberdeen, at a water depth of 95 meters. •    trenching and installation of an 11.9 kilometer umbilical. Technip’s operating center in Aberdeen, Scotland will execute the contract, which is scheduled to be completed in the second semester of 2013. The Group’s spoolbase in Evanton, Scotland, will fabricate the pipe-in-pipe and DUCO Limited, Technip’s wholly-owned subsidiary in Newcastle, England, will manufacture the umbilical. Technip’s pipelay vessel, Apache II, will be used for the offshore campaign.

Aker Solutions has signed a frame agreement with Shell Norway and Shell U.K. Limited for the supply of subsea umbilicals. The contract is awarded for one year with an option to extend it an additional 12 months. The award means that Aker Solutions will be the preferred supplier of steel tube umbilicals for projects in the North Sea that are managed by Shell's Norwegian and UK operations. Shell U.K. Limited (Shell),Esso Exploration and Production UK Limited, (ExxonMobil), Mobil North Sea LLC (ExxonMobil) and Enterprise Oil U.K. Limited (Shell) completed the final sale and transfer of a number of northern North Sea assets to TAQA Bratani Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC (TAQA) on Dec. 1, 2008. The assets include equity and operatorship of Tern, Kestrel, Eider, Pelican, Cormorant North and South Cormorant fields (TENC-CA) and related infrastructure, a non-operated interest in Hudson, and equity interests in the Sullom Voe Terminal and Brent System. TAQA Bratani will assume responsibility for the decommissioning liabilities relating to these fields and infrastructure.

Aker Kvaerner has signed a five-year partnership agreement with Shell U.K. Limited and A/S Norske Shell ('Shell') covering the provision, installation, commissioning and life-of-field support of subsea control systems in the North Sea. The framework agreement is signed for an initial five year period, with five optional one-year extensions. It could be worth between GBP 20 and 30 million over the first five years. The contract encapsulates the two companies' solid working relationship, which has been running since the late 1970s. The deal brings Aker Kvaerner Subsea's controls delivery and service, including aftermarket services, into one contract arrangement to ensure maximum efficiency in supporting Shell's projects.
