Viega Debuts ProPress Zero Lead Ball Valves
Viega has introduced its line of Viega ProPress Zero Lead Ball Valve press x hose thread for copper fittings. The bronze ball valves are full port and designed for potable water applications. The ball valves are available in 1/2" and 3/4" press sizes and 3/4" hose sizes. Other features include a lockable metal handle, stainless steel ball and EPDM sealing element. The Viega ProPress for copper system is available in more than 600 fitting configurations, in sizes ranging from 1/2" to 4".

New System for Marine Pipe-joining Applications
Viega LLC, a provider of pipe-joining solutions, announced the availability of the Viega SeaPress system for a variety of marine pipe-joining applications from potable water, to fuel, to fire sprinkler. The Viega SeaPress system is a 90/10 copper-nickel alloy suited for seawater systems, and according to the manufacturer is the only copper-nickel press fitting with a double-press connection. Viega SeaPress is available with adapters to transition to imperial and metric sizes.
JA Moody, Viega Strike Distribution Deal
JA Moody, a national distributor for product lines in the navy and commercial marine marketplace, is now a Viega Marine Distributor for the U.S. shipbuilding and offshore markets. Founded in 1899, The Viega Group manufactures and distributes plumbing, heating and pipe joining systems, currently offering more than 3,000 products in North America. Viega manufactures and distributes shipbuilding and offshore piping solutions and claims to be the only manufacturer to offer press fittings in multiple pipe joining materials. Viega ProPress, Viega SeaPress and Viega MegaPress systems can reduce installation time and improve performance in marine markets including megayachts, commercial vessels, military vessels and oil platforms, the manufacturer said.
