Video: Tugboat Captain Medevaced

The U.S. Coast Guard medevaced an ailing tugboat captain Sunday from the vessel Willy Landers one mile east of Satellite Beach, Fla.

Coast Guard watchstanders in Jacksonville, Fla. received a call from a crewmember of the 75-foot towing vessel at approximately 12:30 a.m., stating the 53-year-old captain was experiencing heart attack symptoms.

A Coast Guard helicopter crew arrived on scene at 3:15 a.m., hoisted the captain and transported him to Holmes Regional Hospital.
