Greek oil tanker company Okeanis Eco Tankers has taken delivery of the Suezmax tanker Nissos Sifnos, concluding the company's newbuilding program.

The Nissos Sifnos was delivered from South Korea's Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries in South Korea. The tanker has already started its three-year time charter with an unnamed oil company.

This is the second (and final) Suezmax delivery this month from Hyundai for Alafouzos family-controlled Okeanis Eco Tankers after the company announced the delivery of the Nissos Sikinos tanker ten days ago.

Both Nissos Sikinos and Nissos Sifnos are fitted with scrubbers, and both 158,000 dwt tankers have started their three-year charters.

Piraeus-based Okeanis Eco Tankers said last month that the two tankers’ daily cash breakeven rate was anticipated to be sub-$21,000 per day.
