Ingram Marine Announces Executive Promotions

Ingram Marine Group announced the following executive leadership promotions. David Sehrt, former Vice President of Operations and Engineering for Ingram Barge Company, has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Dan Mecklenborg, previously Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Ingram Barge Company, has been named Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Chief Legal Officer. David O’Neill, who has served as Assistant Vice President, Ingram Support Services (ISS) and Emergency Response, has been promoted to Vice President, ISS and Emergency Response. “We have a very strong leadership team, and it’s the right team to guide us through the transition period as we bring Midland Enterprises on board as an Ingram company,” said Craig Philip, President and Chief Executive Officer. David Sehrt will oversee Ingram Barge Company’s vessel operations, vessel engineering, barge maintenance, purchasing functions, and Ingram Support Services vessels and facilities. He will also serve as Chief Operating Officer of Walker Boat Yard, a shipyard obtained as part of the Midland acquisition. He joined Ingram Barge Company in 1989 as Assistant to the President. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Tulane University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University. Dan Mecklenborg will be responsible for Ingram legal,Marine Group's legal, claims, human resources and safety, training and environmental functions. He came to Ingram in 1996. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Dayton and a Juris Doctor degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. David O’Neill is responsible for all ISS vessels, facilities, engineering, logistics and dispatching. He will also manage Ingram’s Emergency Response activities. He joined Ingram in 1990 as Vice President and General Manager of Ingram Towing Company, and he has held positions of increasing responsibilities in the vessel operations and ISS departments. He holds a Bachelors degree in business management from Mid-Continent College.
