German navigation system manufacturer Raytheon Anschütz opens new subsidiary in Brazil to serve shipping & offshore industry

Raytheon Anschütz has established a  new subsidiary Raytheon Anschuetz do Brasil Sistemas Marítimos Ltda. With the new company, Raytheon Anschütz intends to expand its sales and service activities in South America.

Headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, Raytheon Anschuetz do Brasil will provide Brazilian shipyards and shipowners with local know-how in maritime system integration and after sales services.

This includes supply and systems integration for Raytheon Anschütz navigation components: gyro compasses, autopilots and steering systems, Radars, ECDIS, and complete integrated bridge systems.

For offshore platforms, Raytheon Anschuetz do Brasil is able to offer tailored and surveillance and security solutions on a commercial-off-the-shelf basis.

“With the opening of Raytheon Anschuetz do Brasil, we take an important step to secure best possible local customer support in this region, with a particular focus on the shipbuilding and offshore industry”, says Paul Robbe, who will lead the new company as Managing Director.
