Heavy Lift: Topside Module Delivered for Yadana Gas Field
SapuraAcergy awarded BigLift Shipping the transportation contract for a wellhead production topside module for the offshore Yadana gas field, off Myanmar. BigLift loaded the module in Ulsan, Korea, and transported it to the Yadana field, where SapuraAcergy’s S3000 would lift it off and install it onto its offshore foundation. Happy Star loaded the topside module of just under 1,000 metric tons with her two 900-metric-ton heavy lift mast cranes at Hyundai Heavy Industries in Ulsan.

US Judge Approves BP Civil Settlement with US Government over 2010 Spill
U.S. Judge Carl Barbier granted final approval on Monday to BP Plc's civil settlement over its 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill after it reached a deal in July 2015 to pay up to $18.7 billion in penalties to the U.S. government and five states. The company at the time said its total pre-tax charges from the spill set aside for criminal and civil penalties and cleanup costs were around $53.8 billion. Stena Weco Impulse Delivered from China
The chemical and product tanker Stena Weco Impulse, jointly owned on a 50-50 basis by Stena Bulk and the Danish Weco Group, has been delivered from the Chinese shipyard CSSC Offshore & Marine Engineering (CSSC OME) in Guangzhou. The IMOIIMAX tanker Stena Weco Impulse is the sixth in a series of 13 vessels ordered by Stena Bulk. She is now en route to several Indonesian ports where she will load vegetable oils after which she will sail to Barcelona and Rotterdam to discharge her cargo.
