Seawork Postponed
Event organizers say they have been forced to postpone Seawork and its co-located exhibition the Marine and Coastal Civil Engineering Expo (M&CCE Expo), due to be held from June 9-11 and Speed@Seawork, due to be held on June 8, in the U.K., due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"We are aware that the events are vital business tools in the commercial marine industry and regret that we have had to take this decision," Mercator Media said.
Organizers said they will continue to work with exhibitors, sponsors, supporters and contractors to facilitate participation in the rescheduled marine and commercial workboat exhibition.
"We are doing all we can to ensure the events can take place in 2020," organizers said. "Our aim is to produce Seawork, M&CCE Expo and Speed@Seawork, in similar formats to the planned June events, including keynote speeches, vessel and equipment launches, press calls, conferences, feature days and awards.
Mercator Media said another update will be shared on March 27.
