Leading Finnish provider of fuel saving technology to the shipping industry recognized for its development and growth by prestigious international Green Technology Award.

Eniram Limited, the fast-growing Finnish provider of real-time decision support solutions for the shipping and marine industry, has been chosen by the Global Cleantech Cluster Association (GCCA) as a 2012 Later Stage Award Top 30 Finalist. Inclusion in the list reflects Eniram’s business growth in delivering technology that helps shipping companies become more fuel efficient and environmentally friendly. This award recognizes innovative mid to later stage cleantech companies around the world who are clearly contributing to the rising green economy. Ten category winners will be announced at the Savannah International Clean Energy Conference on November 13, 2012 in Savannah, Georgia, USA.

“Eniram is delighted to have made it into the top 30 shortlist of emerging cleantech companies selected by GCCA. This nomination highlights the company’s commitment to continuing growth and market success,” said Philip Padfield, CEO of Eniram. “Our business solution enables some of the largest shipping operators to succeed with fuel saving strategies.”

“The annual Later Stage Awards has become the international showcase of cleantech's rising stars,” said Shawn Lesser of Watershed Capital Group and Co-Founder of the GCCA. “With a goal to advance the global use of clean energy and products, we are committed to spotlighting these innovative companies on a world stage.”

Eniram was nominated for the GCCA Later Stage Award by the Finnish Cleantech Cluster in May 2012 for the company’s early success and future growth potential. The top 30 finalists were selected out of 4000 companies represented by the GCCA’s 45 member clusters.

The Award is sponsored by Deloitte in recognition of the rising green economy.

“Choosing 30 companies out of this year’s 200 nominations was an extremely competitive process,” said Ben Taube, Chairman of the GCCA. “These Top 30 Finalists represent a premier group of rising stars in the clean technology industry.”
