VesselsValue.com Adds eBroker to Online Service

Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

March 20, 2012

The online ship valuation service VesselsValue.com, which covers tankers, bulkers and containers, has now released ‘eBroker,’ the most significant upgrade since containerships were added last November.

Built over the past four months, eBroker allows instant confidential access to the world fleet and the ability to drill down into real time vessel ownership. This is supported by dynamic graphic and chart representation all with the VV stamp: easy and instant.
While current and historical valuations for both individual vessels and entire fleets remain the core service offering, VesselsValue.com is using its database to provide increasingly comprehensive sales statistics, fleet stats and market information.
VesselsValue.com was launched in May, 2011, and its clients now include the major commercial and investment banks, funds, traders, ship owners, ship managers, accountants, lawyers, expert witnesses, insurers, underwriters and brokers.
Its values and other data are quoted regularly in the shipping and financial press. To date, the system has performed 115,000 individual ship valuations.

VesselsValue.com believes that eBroker marks an important step in highlighting the advantages of using an automated system, not just to value assets, but also to sort through vast amounts of shipping information in seconds. The model is continually updated and recalibrated daily to provide up to the minute values and analysis.
