The German navigation system supplier Raytheon Anschütz has signed a new agreement with Wärtsilä Corporation, Finland. According to the new agreement, Raytheon Anschütz will supply their Integrated Bridge Systems for Wärtsilä’s total ship system solutions.

“We see an increasing demand for larger ship solutions including machinery, automation and navigation", said Andreas Lentfer, Business Development Director at Raytheon Anschütz. "Wärtsilä will use the latest generation of Raytheon Anschütz Integrated Bridge Systems (IBS) which is perfectly prepared for seamless integration with engine and propulsion controls, alarm and monitoring systems."

Within the agreement Raytheon Anschütz will supply complete Integrated Bridge Systems. Wärtsilä intends to make its integrated packages, combining navigation and automation systems, available for all types of vessels. Wärtsilä services will be backed-up by the global Raytheon Anschütz service network and the central service coordination in Kiel.
