JRC’s New 10.4-Inch All-in-One LCD Radar

Japan Radio Co., Ltd. (JRC) is pleased to announce the introduction of the JMA-3300 series radar incorporating some of the latest technological achievements available.

 

The new all-in-one radar features a bonded, ultra bright LCD. It is backlit by white LED’s giving 1000 candelas of brightness, a level not previously found on this class of radar.

 

JRC engineers’ custom designed the System-on-Chip inside the new JMA-3300 series to be an extremely powerful tool, boasting many of the features found on larger radars. JRC’s second generation automatic radar plotting aid, MARPA+™, is included as standard, as is the company’s own 50 vessel AIS search function DirecTrak™.

 

Antenna arrangements go from a 4kW radome to 6kW and 10kW pedestals (including 3 high-speed models in the 6kW and 10kW range), with antennas from 2 to 6ft, making this radar the perfect choice for the smaller professional and commercial vessel owners and operators.
