LAGCOE Announces 2013 Officers
Louisiana Gulf Coast Oil Exposition (LAGCOE) appointed its 2013 officers, according to LAGCOE Executive Director Angela Cring.
Kirby Arceneaux has been named 2013 LAGCOE Chairman. Since 2001, Arceneaux has been an active contributor to the success of LAGCOE, serving continuously in leadership roles on Public Relations, Exhibit Judges and Executive Committees as well as serving on the Board of Directors. Arceneaux is Chairman of Environmental Drilling Solutions, LLC, a solids control/waste management firm based in Lafayette, La., with operations in many of the shale plays across North America. Prior to this, Arceneaux was President of Wellbore Energy Solutions, a company he and his partners founded, Executive Vice President with Offshore Energy Services, and he served in various sales and management capacities with Oil & Gas Rental Services after graduating from the Northeastern Louisiana University (now University of Louisiana Monroe) in 1978.
Steve Maley has been named 2013 LAGCOE Chairman Elect. Maley has been on the LAGCOE Board of Directors since 2005 and has served as an exhibit judge and Executive Committee member throughout those years. His leadership has contributed to recent advancements in LAGCOE organization infrastructure, and he will guide the next two expositions in advancing positions. Maley is Operations Manager for Badger Oil Corporation, a privately held operator in South Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico, based in Lafayette, La. Before joining Badger Oil, he was Manager of Reservoir Engineering for CNG Producing Company. Maley began his career at Shell Offshore in New Orleans after graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 1978. Maley is a Registered Professional Engineer and has held leadership positions in professional industry associations including Director, Evangeline Section of Society of Petroleum Engineers and Vice Chairman, New Orleans Chapter of Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers.
Kenneth “Kenny” Crouch has been named 2013 LAGCOE Treasurer. Crouch is the owner of Pressure Control Specialties, a Lafayette-based company that furnishes pressure control equipment for wireline support. Crouch purchased this company in 2009 and has since opened offices in Pennsylvania and Texas. Throughout more than 30 years of service to LAGCOE, Crouch has participated in various capacities within the organization’s committees. After years of service on the Parking and Traffic Committee, in 2007, Crouch began to serve LAGCOE through the Exhibitor Relations Committee and served as Co-chair and Chairman in 2009 and 2011 respectively. In 2011, Crouch also served on the Executive Committee. Crouch attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now UL-Lafayette) and began his career in the oil industry with the family-owned business, Southern Wireline Service, a logging and perforating company. He became President of the company prior to its being sold in 2005.
