GL Noble Denton Appoints Dr Vicki Niesen

GL Noble Denton appoints Dr Vicki Niesen to lead Hydraulic and Flow Assurance Consulting Services for Americas Brings more than 25 years of industry leadership in flow assurance to GL Noble Denton's American operations alongside senior colleague, Dr Trent Brown.

Houston/Texas, 26 April 2011 - GL Noble Denton, the global independent technical advisor to the oil and gas industry, has appointed Dr Vicki Niesen to lead its Hydraulic and Flow Assurance Consulting Services department in the Americas.

A recognized authority on flow assurance, Dr Niesen brings more than 25 years' experience in the oil and gas industry to her new role. She is joined by former business partner Dr Trent Brown, who has been appointed as a Principal Flow Assurance Consultant within her team. Dr Brown also brings over 25 years of experience providing flow assurance solutions to leading industry projects. Together, they will offer GL Noble Denton's clients market-leading advice on the analysis of thermal, hydraulic and production chemistry issues for single-phase and multi-phase fluids, on- and offshore.

Dr Niesen joins GL Noble Denton having spent sixteen years as the co-founder of two successful specialist businesses focused on modelling oil and gas pipeline production and pipe-in-pipe design. She contributes regularly to a wide range of oil and gas industry journals and is frequently invited to present her expertise at leading international oil and gas conferences alongside Trent.

Dr Brown specialises in transient pipeline and process modelling, thermodynamic modelling and mechanical/thermal design pipelines, with particular expertise in pipe-in-pipe. His experience has included work on international subsea projects for some of the world's most respected oil and gas organizations.
