Azerbaijan Caspian Sea Shipping Company Submits Vessels Inspection Reports

 The reports prepared for the first quarter of 2018 on the inspections of vessels of the Offshore Fleet of the Azerbaijan Caspian Sea Shipping Company have been submitted.

 
According to the instruction of the administration of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping, the inspections of vessels were carried out by the inspectors. 
 
Baylar Aghayev and Rashad Shakarov who presented the results of the inspection provided the information on the violations found in the vessels. It was noted that the seafarers were promptly notified of the revealed defects and necessary measures were taken to eliminate them. Special trainings were conducted to improve the knowledge and skills of the crew in vessels.
 
The work of the independent inspectors received positive evaluation of the Chairman of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Rauf Aliyev, who attended the meeting. Mr. Chairman said that there have been positive developments in response to the accidents, but he expects the seafarers to achieve better results. 
 
The chairman instructed to increase the readiness of the vessel crews, ensure compliance with safety swimming requirements and improve the ability of seafarera to use emergency response equipments. At the same time, he noticed the importance of paying special attention to the matters of discipline and order in the vessels.
 
Moreover, Rauf Veliyev noted that experienced staff should mobilize all their knowledge and abilities in the process of training young seamen, mastering their professional skills, which will help increase the number of professional personnel in the fleet.
 
After the submission of the reports, the discussions were conducted with seafarers around the revealed shortcomings.
 
It should be noted that the independent inspections are regularly conducted to improve the quality of the work in the Shipping Company.
