Admiral James Loy, Commandant, U.S. Coast Guard, recently issued an Open Letter to Team Coast Guard. The letter expresses his pride in the service for the manner in which all members responded to the terrible events of September 11th and discusses how the Coast Guard is working to rebalance its missions and resources.
