World-Link, Inmarsat Sign Communications Deal

Inmarsat, a provider of global mobile satellite communications services, has signed an agreement with World-Link Communications, Inc., appointing the satellite services provider as a partner for FleetBroadband, serving the maritime market globally.

Alongside the agreement, World-Link plans to strengthen its infrastructure and integrate with the Inmarsat network through an investment in building an Inmarsat Point-of-Presence (PoP). The plan will advance World-Link’s ability to deliver enhanced value-added services to its global maritime customer base, the company said.

We want to ensure that World-Link customers benefit from industry leading technology and seamless connectivity at sea in a cost effective manner.”
