Troy Container Line Expands Export Dept.

Troy Container Line Ltd., one of the largest American-owned NVOCCs, announced the expansion of its LCL Export Department with the hiring of Teresa Becker, Miguel Odria and Brian O’Malley in the company’s Red Bank, N.J. headquarters. Becker, Odria and O’Malley’s roles will focus on three key aspects of the business: documentation, customer relations and operations to meet the heightened demand of the company’s continually expanding exports division.

The growth of our export division is not only due to our competitive rates and transit times, but also the expertise and commitment of our staff,” commented Patricia Fitzgerald, COO of Exports at Troy Container Line. “I am excited to work with Teresa, Miguel and Brian in their new positions, as they all bring a unique set of qualifications and skills to the Troy Container Line team.”

Becker has joined the Troy Container Line Operations Team, headed by Vice President Walter Gimbert. She brings more than 25 years of experience in the logistics industry to her new role at Troy. Becker’s job duties include trouble shooting and quality control, coordinating with warehouses to ensure goods are received in pristine condition, and ensuring clients are satisfied from the receipt to release of cargo overseas. A graduate of the Chubb Institute, Becker is a resident of Ocean County, N.J.

As a Documentation Assistant, Odria is responsible for obtaining and ensuring all consolidation containers tendered to the steamship lines sail on time. Additionally, Odria, also known as “Migs,” is responsible for communicating all necessary information to each client regarding onboard confirmations. Odria, A Penn State graduate, has mastered the skill of tracing clients LTL trucking from door to CFS and problem shooting on a moment’s notice to ensure on-time delivery for every customers’ cargo.

O’ Malley’s role as a Customer Service Representative includes daily agent communications with Italy, Spain and Belgium, as well as booking, tracking and tracing cargo. His attention to detail and instinctive ability to find the most competitive trucking and ocean rates has made him a perfect match for Troy’s growing clientele and their pricing needs. Prior to joining the Troy Container Line team, he worked in both the FCL and LCL fields. A graduate of West Virginia University, O’Malley currently resides in Monmouth County, N.J.
