SPADAC has won two contracts with the Office of Naval Research (ONR) to develop solutions in support of the global war on terror.
SPADAC, headquartered in McLean, Va., offers unique solutions which
allow decision-makers to analyze past events in order to better understand
and forecast future events. SPADAC's novel pattern analysis approach
applies technology in tandem with the experience and knowledge of subject
matter experts to provide significant advantages over strictly
technology-based solutions.
In the first contract, SPADAC will research and provide ONR with a
solution to predict and analyze tactics, techniques and procedures used by
enemy individuals and groups. This solution will help analysts determine
the causes of certain behaviors and to plan accordingly to exploit those
behaviors. The solution will also provide a means of measuring changes in
behavior. Over its full term, the contract is worth approximately $980,000.
In the second contract, SPADAC will develop simulation and modeling
tools to identify the features of individuals, events and organizations who
pose a threat to specific missions and to determine where sensor resources
should be allocated for maximum efficiency. Over its full term, the
contract is worth an estimated $4.2 million.
