Gnostech President Takes Controlling Ownership

Current president of Gnostech Inc., James Espino, has acquired the controlling ownership of the company from Braxton Science & Technology Group (BSTG) on May 19, 2017.

As the president and controlling owner of Gnostech, Espino will lead the company into the future. “This is an exciting time for Gnostech. We can pursue new and emerging government contracting opportunities that leverage our diverse range of capabilities,” he said. “In the end, we will continue to provide the quality, technology-driven solutions and services to support the warfighter – something we’ve done very well the last 36 years.”

Prior to joining the company, Espino served as an officer in the U.S. Coast Guard for over 20 years. He has extensive experience with C4ISR projects and logistics planning around disaster preparedness.

Originally a GPS applied engineering company, Gnostech’s expertise has grown to include cyber security, software development and systems engineering within the C4ISR domain. Today, it has more than 70 employees, and serves its customers in the metro Philadelphia area, Washington D.C. area, Colorado Springs and San Diego.

Espino’s acquisition of Gnostech classifies the company as a small business based on applicable Small Business Administration (SBA) size standards including the North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code for Engineering Services (541330). In addition, Espino’s ownership allows the company to be designated as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
