Contship Offers New Slot Charters

Contship Containerlines will offer three new slot charters, which will supplement its presence in the growing export trades from Australia and New Zealand to various key markets across Asia. Contship Containerlines, which is part of the CP Ships group, is now offering Australasian shippers three new loops: String 1 operates from Australia/New Zealand to India String 2 from Australia/New Zealand to South East Asia String 3 from Australia/New Zealand to East Asia/China. Australian shippers are being offered sailings from Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Fremantle. >From New Zealand, Contship Containerlines now provides services on the different strings from Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington, Nelson and Timaru. With a total of 15 sailings a month, Contship Containerlines has multiple options and some of the quickest transits in the various trade lanes. Typical transit times from Melbourne and Fremantle to Singapore are 11 and 5 days respectively. New service options into India and China will allow Australasian exporters to take advantage of these growth markets, with direct port calls into Mumbai and Nhava Sheva in India; as well as Qingdao, Xingang and Shanghai in China.
