Globe Express Services (GES), a leading global logistics provider, say they have appointed V4 Advisors, an environmental advisory services company with extensive experience in the field of emission reduction, energy and water audit, air pollution, and renewable energy, to help them significantly reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions.

GES  will conduct its ‘Greenhouse Gas Audit’ using V4 Advisors’ globally recognized online platform based on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, the most widely used international accounting tool to understand, quantify, and manage greenhouse gas emissions.

They explain that the Greenhouse Gas Audit will be executed in four phases for effective implementation. The process begins with the collection of data on usage of electricity, paper, refrigeration and transportation by the GES which is entered into the online tool for analysis. The Group’s employees will attend workshops organized by V4 Advisors to understand audit findings and discuss more efficient ways to reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions.

Mustapha Kawam, Managing Director – Gulf States of GES, said: “We are always on a look out for ways to minimize our carbon footprints and implement ideas for ‘Going Green’ that will contribute towards the UAE’s efforts to become an eco-friendly country. We actively participate in and promote sustainable initiatives that take place in the country.
