SENER to Exhibit FORAN V80 Version at 1st Baltic FORAN Day

The SENER engineering and technology group organizes the 1st Baltic FORAN Day, which will take place in the Hilton Gdansk Hotel, Targ Rybny 1, Gdansk, 80-838, Poland, on the 28th of April. This Baltic FORAN Day is focused to Baltic Region countries, like Poland, Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Deutschland, Norway, Sweden and Germany.

 The aim of this open and free event, organized by SENER, is to present the advantages of its FORAN CAD/CAM System to fulfil the shipbuilding challenges and to share experiences between professionals, from ship design offices, shipyards and universities. Some advantages provided by the new FORAN V80 are the use of a single tool for integrated design and production throughout the product’s life cycle, an innovative 3D approach to early design stages and connection with the rest of the company’s  Baltic FORAN Day will consist on a sequence of presentations and short live workshops. SENER will introduce the most relevant aspects of today’s FORAN technology.

The preliminary agenda of the event includes a presentation of the main principles of the FORAN solution, and then, detailed descriptions about the FORAN V80 most important features, starting in the Hull Forms definition, stability calculations and capabilities for Hull Structure and Outfitting detail design, among others.  With the presence of a number of Polish design companies that will present their achievements and experience with FORAN, and having the conviction that the event will have a great reception, SENER organizes it with enthusiasm to ensure a global benefit for current and future users of FORAN.
