Russian Navy Plans Expansion

The Russian Navy plans to build 20 new frigates over the next 15-20 years. The Navy plans to build a large series of these ships, at least 20 and at least five ships for each fleet [Black Sea, Baltic, Pacific, and North Atlantic]. By Russian military classification, a frigate is a large multi-purpose escort ship.
